Amy Herman

Amy Herman attended Boston University School of Fine Arts where she pursued her love of art and design. She then attended The University of Miami School of Art where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Amy was also presented with the University of Miami Graphic Design award. After graduation Amy moved to New York City and started a career in advertising, working as an art director for national consumer print and television ads. Amy moved back to Florida in 1992 where she presently works in Interior Design while pursuing her lifelong passion of making art. Amy’s accomplishments are many, including prizes awarded from the University of Miami, the Florida Society of Fine Arts, The Miami Herald and Sears Roebuck & Company. Her interior design work has been recognized in interior design publications including the Miami Herald Home and Design magazine. Amy attributes her artistic success to the good fortune of having studied with South Florida artist such as Roberto Martinez, Gene Massin, Andrew Morgan, and Christine Federighi.
