Gisela Savdie

Gisela Savdie is a  Colombian Artist living in the United States. She graduated in Dentistry from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota (Colombia), and while working as a Dentist she studied painting and drawing in Bellas Artes School of the Arts. Photography was always part of her profession for teaching purposes. She moved to South Florida, and became a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the International Fine Arts College in Miami (Florida), and is a Master of Arts from Barry University. She has had individual exhibitions in Colombia (2007) and Argentina (2009), and several group exhibitions in the United States (Colombian Consulate in Miami, 302 Gallery in Dania, Cornell Museum in Delray Beach, DASH Gallery in Miami, and Artformz in Miami). She published a book on Dentistry, and is currently an editor for Letra Urbana, a Spanish online magazine. She has been published in The Miami Herald, El Heraldo (Barranquilla, Colombia), Best of College Photography (Santa Barbara, California), Best of Photography Annual (Santa Barbara, California), Letra Urbana (Miami, Florida). She is currently a member of Artformz, a gallery in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami, Florida.
